Major Concern Highlighted Prior to Oleksandr Usyk Fight: Tyson Fury "looked confused."

Image
During his fight against Francis Ngannou at the end of October, Carl Froch feels Tyson Fury 'looked bewildered'.  And with Fury's fight with Oleksandr Usyk drawing nearer, the former boxing champion is concerned about Fury's mindset. When they faced off in Saudi Arabia, Fury prevailed through split decision against Ngannou.  However, the Gypsy King was not at his peak and went down in the third round.  Fury's lackluster performance has led to accusations that he has grown complacent. But he does appear to be taking his confrontation with Usyk seriously.  With his latest training, Fury has become leaner and thinner in photos that Thomas Carty has shared. According to reports, he is scheduled to depart for Saudi Arabia in the next few days and would skip the New Year's festivities to increase his chances of winning. When they face up in less than two months, Froch worries about Fury and thinks Usyk will win. The former boxing star told talkSPORT:  “2024’s gonna

Tyson’s father, John Fury, is concerned about his son's upcoming super fight, but not in the way people think. Fury voiced worry over his son and his impending heavyweight title unification fight against Oleksandr Usyk in February 2024 in an interview with Seconds Out Boxing. The native Irishman referred to the WBC champion's training regimen as a "circus" and "not a camp." Fury made a point to express his belief that his son's trainers and crew are more to blame than Tyson being on a "decline." As stated by John Fury in the interview: "I never said my son was in decline because he's not. It's the people around him who ain't up to much. His training's in decline and his camp's in a bigger decline. It's not a camp, it's a circus." Fury went on to claim that because of Usyk's "disciplined" attitude to training, he "absolutely" believes he can win the undisputed heavyweight title bout

Shakur Stevenson's Post-Fight Take On Ryan Garcia: “I Saw A Lot Of Weakness In His Game”

In response to Ryan Garcia's eighth-round knockout victory against Oscar Duarte last night, WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson didn't hold back, stating that the well-liked Kingry displayed "A lot of weaknesses." Shakur pointed out that Ryan (24-1, 20 KOs) was still completely unimpressive even though he had a fighter in Duarte (26-2-1, 21 KOs) who was practically "tailor-made" for him. Shakur identified two areas of weakness in Ryan's strategy: 1) No inside game: Ryan looked inept and useless on the inside, either holding or turning his back to Duarte while looking at the referee for help. It was submissive behavior on Ryan’s part, showing that he’s not a top-tier-level fighter.  2) Absence of a right hand: Shakur felt that Ryan didn’t know how to use his right hand, and rarely threw it during the fight, which is nothing new for him. Ryan’s right hand is similar to the useless arms of the T-Rex dinosaur. In other words, it’s a vestigial structure
