Ryan Garcia vs Gervonta Davis

The mega-fight between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta "Tank" Davis, according to Showtime CEO Stephen Espinoza, is "very near" to being set.

The Tank-Ryan bout isn't finalized yet, according to Espinoza, because the TV networks need to be worked out. The battle between Tank (27-0, 25 KOs) who fights on Showtime, and Ryan Garcia, who fights on DAZN, doesn't serve the interests of either network for them to share the fight.

Espinoza added that there is "a contract in place", but that there were still a few specifics that needed to be worked out.

Despite Ryan having a sizable social media following on platforms like YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram, he is still not a big enough boxing star for a fight between him and Gervonta Davis to be one that will be lucrative for both competing networks DAZN and Showtime.
